Law of Machine
Machines may recieve energy in the different forms to do work. Energy is supplied by a single force through a distance, and machine does work. Machines can multiply force but they cannot multiply work. We except that when we use a machine, output work is produced for us. If we apply a force to the handle of a plier the blade will cut a wire and so with scissors on papaer or cloth. The effort we apply at the handles put the machine to work. The effort applied to the handles of the plier is called input and the work done by the machine ia the output.
